Dit is Evil. Een kwak van 25.000 levende neuronen in een schaaltje. Je kan ze dingen leren, je kan er van alles mee doen. Waar kiest de Amerikaanse wetenschap voor?

Kom, laten we eens kijken of we ze een F-22 straaljager kunnen leren besturen.

Gelukkig gaat het nu nog heel erg snel mis met die neuronen in zo'n kweekbakkie. Ik denk dat het leger voorlopig nog volmondig nee zegt tegen het voorstel om het lot een machine van tweehondermiljoen in handen te leggen van een schaaltje grijze drab.

Mwah, op de keper beschouwd heeft de gemiddelde Amerikaan ongeveer de hersencapaciteit van wat er in dat schaaltje ligt te drillen, dus met andere woorden wordt een F22 nu al bestuurd door een pea-sized rat-brain. Ik zie het verschil niet echt. Wellicht dat als ze iets groters weten te produceren het intelligenter wordt dan De Amerikaan. En da's ook weer eng als het met amerikaanse ideologien gepaard moet gaan.. Ik zou zeggen: Niet doen, die kweekbakkies met brein.

When cercariae of D. dendriticum or Dicrocoelium lanceatum, produced in slime balls from infected snails, are ingested by their host ants Formica pratensis or Formica polyctena, several cercaria migrate from the abdominal cavity to the ants brain where only one (occasionally two) will encyst in the subesophageal ganglion. [...] Infection results in a change in the behaviour in the infected ants. As night falls infected ants do not return to their nests with uninfected nestmates, but instead climb up vegetation and clamp themselves by their mandibles to the tips of the leaves where they remain until daylight when they unhook themselves, climb down, and rejoin their nestmates (Hohorst and Graefe 1961; Anokhin 1966; Schneider and Hohorst 1971). Andrea - Bri thank you so much for not only capturing bufatiuel moments of Kensington but for also portraying our Angel Alexandria as the true amazing spirit that she was. I'm so glad you got to meet her and see what a truly special baby she was. Shawna I read your story and my thoughts and prayers are with you as well. We've both suffered one of the hardest things that anyone can be faced with but it sounds like both our little angels live on in their sibling and forever in our hearts. I'm sure that Alexandria and McKenzie are playing together and keeping each other company until we see them again.
