Ik schreef net dus een stukkie waarin ik de loftrompet steek over Safari Stand, een plugin voor Safari die tabbed browsen nog handiger maakt. En die nog wat ENORM handige features heeft, zoals links openen in een nieuwe tab, ipv in een nieuw venster en, speciaal voor ontwikkelaars, de mogelijkheid om de code te editten.

Ik sloot af met de conclusie dat ik misschien wel weer terug zou switchen van Camino naar safari, vanwege deze plugin. Maar toen crashte safari. Ik hou het dus lekker nog even bij Camino.

De mate waarin alles tijdens het bezoek van Bush aan Louisiana ge�nceneerd werd schokte de duitse verslaggever Christine Adelhard. Volgens de ARD/ZDF-correspondent werd direct na het vertrek van Bush een namaaknoodvoedseldistributiepunt afgebroken.

Ray Nagin for president

De zoekfrase "Ray Nagin for president" telt nu 65 resultaten. Ik ben benieuwd hoe zich dit gaat onwikkelen de komende dagen.

[Update] Bush fakes levee repair

Volgens dit berichtje bezocht Bush een plek waar men een kritische dijkbreuk aan het repareren was. De reparatiewerkzaamheden (b)leken nep te zijn. Ze zouden alleen maar als decor dienen voor een foto opportunity.

Nog een photo op: altijd leuk, de president met een paar helicopters op de achtergrond. Waarom ze daar staan? Misschien zijn ze aan het bijtanken. Misschien worden ze gerepareerd. Misschien stond er in de helicopterpiloten CAO "twee uur vliegen, ��n kwartier rust".

"You're a fly named Yar on a quest in space, you attack the shield of the Qotile's base. Dit spel voor de Atari 2600 werd gehyped met een heuse vrolijke commercial.

geen idee waar hij zo opgewonden van raakt, van dit spel is het zeker niet

Ondanks de overweldigende commercial is het een rukspel in optima forma. Onterecht gehyped, hier hebben waarschijnlijk te veel kinderen te lang om gezeurd.

Zero Wing (1989)

Een flinterdunne verhaallijn, onorigineel spel en een slechte vertaling.

Alleen daardoor uitgegroeid tot een van de grootste internetklassiekers. Het spel is gewoon een R-Type variant. Wel aardig om te spelen, maar ook niet meer dan dat.

Als je dan toch die Sega Genesis Master System emulator hebt, kun je meteen Shinobi 3, Sonic Pinball, Streets of Rage 3, Super Street Fighter 2 en de de Turtels uitproberen.

De emulators zijn alleen voor Windows (geloof ik) helaas.
